The Doctrine Behind The Tool

RiggerSafe® Was Built Around One Rule

Most hand injuries on a job site don’t happen because someone broke a rule. They happen because the task left no other option — the load needed guiding, steadying, or landing, and the only way to do it was to put a hand near the hazard.

RiggerSafe® exists to remove that choice. It gives the hand somewhere else to be.

What RiggerSafe® Is

RiggerSafe® is a hands-off push-pull load control tool. It lets a worker guide, steady, align, and land suspended or moving loads without ever placing a hand on the load itself. The crane carries the weight. RiggerSafe® controls the direction. The worker’s hand stays on the tool — never on the load.

It is not lifting equipment, and it was never meant to be. It is the distance between a trained hand and a hazard that doesn’t wait for permission.

Where RiggerSafe® Comes From

RiggerSafe® is a product of Hand Safety First®, a hand-injury prevention brand operated by PSC Hand Safety India Private Limited. Hand Safety First® works across the hand-exposure-control space — from doctrine and training material to engineered tools like RiggerSafe® — with one consistent goal: get the hand out of the hazard before the injury happens, not after.

Why It Matters

Hand injuries are some of the most common and most preventable injuries in heavy industry. They rarely make headlines. They are also rarely a surprise — most happen at a predictable moment, a predictable distance, doing a task the crew has done a hundred times before.

RiggerSafe® was built for that exact moment: the one where the job still needs a human hand to guide it, but not to touch it.

RiggerSafe® Principle: The objective is not to make the hand stronger. The objective is to keep the hand away from the hazard.
